What's the best way to make prescription drugs more affordable? Thirty-eight percent of seniors surveyed said drug companies should be required to price prescriptions for Medicare beneficiaries at the same price as prescriptions available through state Medicaid and Veterans programs. Nineteen percent said that simply adding voluntary prescription drug coverage to Medicare would make drugs more affordable. Eighteen percent thought the government should regulate drug prices as they do in Canada and other foreign nations.
