Legislative Notes: Congress Moves to Address Nationwide Nursing Shortage

Your grassroots efforts and widespread bipartisan support for ending a nationwide nursing shortage in Congress is having a positive effect. Legislation that would address the shortage recently passed in the Senate and should be headed for President Bush's signature soon. The legislation was originally introduced in the House by Congresswoman Lois Capps (D-CA).
