H.R. 138 ELIGIBILITY VERIFICATION AND ANTI-IDENTITY THEFT ACT

Representative Elton Gallegly (CA-24) introduced H.R. 138 on February 2, 2007. If signed into law, this bill would require an employer take action after receiving official notice that an employee’s Social Security number does not match the employee’s name.
