H.R. 332 BILL INTRODUCED TO KEEP SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS FOR CITIZENS AND LEGAL WORKERS

Representative John Carter (TX-31) has introduced legislation that protects Social Security benefits from illegal immigrant workers. If signed into law, H.R. 332 would amend the Social Security Act to provide that wages earned, including those via self-employment, by individuals while such persons were NOT citizens or nationals of the U.S., and were illegally in the U.S., shall not be credited for coverage under the Old-Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance program.
