S. 897 ALZHEIMER`S FAMILY ASSISTANCE ACT OF 2007
Senator Barbara Mikulski (MD) introduced this bill on March 15, 2007. If signed into law, the Alzheimer’s Family Assistance Act would create a $3,000 tax credit for families caring for a loved one with a chronic condition like Alzheimer’s. This credit would help the families pay for healthcare costs such as prescription drugs, in-home care, and day care.
