TSCL's Saving Social Security Petition

We, the undersigned, hereby demand that Congress and the President make the following pledge to secure Social Security and Medicare benefits for all Americans:

• Deny any Social Security or Medicare benefits to illegal immigrants.

• Control government spending to preserve money for its existing commitments.

• Put Social Security tax revenue in a Lock Box and don’t use it for other purposes.

• Create a Fair COLA that represents the true cost to seniors, especially medical care.

• Control the rapid growth of Medicare premiums.

• Allow Reimportation of prescription drugs from Canada.

• Require that Congress and the President have the same retirement and Medicare benefits the rest of us do.
