"But Social Security beneficiaries today are struggling to keep up with rising costs, and next year's zero COLA will put them even further behind," says TSCL Chairman, Ed Cates. .Finally, four new cosponsors signed on to the Standardizing Electronic Prior Authorization for Safe Prescribing Act (H.R. 4841), bringing the total up to eighteen cosponsors. For brand-name drugs in the coverage gap, individuals are responsible for 45% of the cost, and for generic drugs, they're responsible for 58%.
