Representative Gil Gutknecht (R-MN) has reintroduced the Pharmaceutical Market Access Act of 2005, which would allow importation of prescription drugs from Canada and other industrialized countries.  His bill, numbered H.R.328, has TSCL’s vigorous support.  In the 108th Congress, his importation bill, then numbered H.R.2427, had passed overwhelming in the House of Representatives due, in part we think, to TSCL’s strong advocacy of that legislation.  We continue to support Congressman Gutknecht’s efforts to help our seniors gain access to safe and affordable prescription drugs.
